Tyga - EMPIRE Celebrates The Grammys

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told PEOPLE at the time that there was no record of a police report being filed as a result of the incident.

Tyga and Empire Records did not immediately return PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

According to TMZ, the incident at Mayweather’s celebration was related to Tyga’sMaybach being repossessed.

The outlet reported that the rapper brokered a deal to lease a Maybach for $6,000 a month, but fell late on the payments.

The men who leased Tyga the vehicle were also at Mayweather’s party, which is allegedly the reason why things turned hostile.
