After a three-month stint in jail in 2016 — he wasarrested for stabbing a manin 2014 during a street brawl in Wisconsin — he appeared onTheDr. OzShowthat November toapologize to his cast mates.

Diamond died on Feb. 1, 2021,due to carcinoma. “He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago,” his rep told PEOPLE in a statement.

The rep added, “In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful.”
