Kendall Jennerwasn’t in attendance at her nieceStormi‘s first birthday party, but thanks to technology, she made a virtual appearance.
During a Thursday visit toThe Tonight Show, the 23-year-old model expressed her remorse over not being able to join the festivities in person due to a schedule conflict.
“I was so upset,” Kendall lamented. “It was supposed to happen on her actual birthday, I’m pretty sure on the first, and itrained and everything got postponedso it didn’t happen until I was out of town.”
“Which was very unfortunate because I would’ve loved to go and it looked really amazing,” the star continued, adding of Stormi’s mom, her younger sisterKylie Jenner, “She really went all out.”

The epic amusement-park-themed bash — where Stormi rocked a red sequined dress and matching sneakers —included extreme details like agiant blow-up replica of Stormi’s face that welcomed guests into the venue, a room filled with inflatable balloon clouds, carnival rides, a bubble room and a magical “butterfly forest” room.
The birthday girl had a blast, too, playing around in a ball pit, cuddling with over-sized stuffed animals, bonding with her famous family members and more.
And her youngest aunt was there in spirit! As Kendall explained toJimmy Fallon, “My mom [Kris Jenner] FaceTimed me right before everyone got there. I was literally on FaceTime for, I’m not kidding, 45 minutes to an hour. It was so much stuff she had to show me. It was crazy.”

Despite her admiration for Kylie’s imaginative party idea, her older sister told Fallon she tried to make her see that the extravagance could be a little much since Stormi likely won’t have memories of it.
“I was like, ‘Youknow she’s 1? I don’t knowif she’s gonna remember this,’ ” Kendall recalled of her conversation with the Kylie Cosmetics mogul, 21. ” ‘I love you for the effort but … ‘ ”
“And she was like, ‘Ireally don’t care. I really wanna do it,’ ” explained theKeeping Up with the Kardashiansstar. “I was like, ‘You know what? More power to ya. Do it. Go for it.’ “
